Easter is actually not a popular time for weddings due to religious restrictions but it certainly can bring some wonderful wedding ideas.

If you haven’t selected a colour for your wedding – open your eyes this weekend!  Easter time brings out a great variety of springtime colors.  As you pick up your sweetie some chocolate, take the extra time to look around at all the different colours in the store.

Eggs have been celebrated since the dawn of time as a symbol of fertility, creation and new life.  What a better way to celebrate your new life as a married couple than with this traditional symbol.  So, get out the omelette pan and start crackin’!  Serve your guests an array of brunch dishes.  One of the hugest benefits of a brunch wedding is that you just can’t compare the cost of eggs to a prime rib dinner.

Looking for an easy and inexpensive centrepiece idea.  Why not pick up some of those egg colouring kits and die a variety of hard-boiled eggs or hollowed eggs and place them in a pretty basket.  Add designs to the eggs, stickers etc.

A popular option for flowergirls is to have wings placed on their backs for a whimsical effect.  But, perhaps, rabbits are one of your favourite pets!  Try putting rabbit ears on your flowergirls to make a unique statement.  (I wouldn’t recommend this option for the older people in your bridal party as we all know how men relate bunny ears to Playboy!)

Of course, chocolate is a popular Easter gift, so wrap up some of your favourite chocolates and give these away to your guests as a thank you.  You could also use jellybeans and other candies.

There are tons of ideas out there waiting for you.  Just open up your eyes and look at all the unique things you can add to your wedding.  Simply walking into your local dollar store during seasonal holidays can spark a whole new concept for your wedding.
